Providence School Stallions JV took the lead late in the game in a 9-5 victory over Sandalwood on Monday. Providence School Stallions JV was down 5-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Nove Masci doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.
Masci led Providence School Stallions JV to victory by driving in four runs. He went 2-for-2 at the plate. Masci drove in runs on a double in the first and a double in the fifth.
In the bottom of the first inning, Providence School Stallions JV tied things up at two when Wes Loveless grounded out, scoring one run. Loveless got the win for Providence School Stallions JV. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one inning, striking out one and walking one. Masci and Drake Reeves entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
