The Providence Boys Cross Country won their second Regional title on Saturday advancing to the FHSAA State Finals in Tallahassee. Providence placed 2 runners in the top 10 and 4 of their scoring runners in the top 20 to earn the 18 point victory. Steven Cartwright led the Stallions with a 3rd place finish and set a new school record of 16:29. Brandon Peralta, Chris Messer, Addison Mills, Hunter Monson, and Coleman Heaton each ran personal records, with Cartwright, Peralta (7th), and Messer (11th) earning First Team All Regional recognition for finishing in the top 15.

The team will race at 8:45am on Saturday, November 10th at Apalachee Regional Park. The Stallions finished as State Runner Up in 2017 after winning both Districts and Regionals. Saturday’s win moves the team up one spot into 2nd place heading into the final week of the season.
